Alexia Niketas

Alexia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy and Piano from the University of Georgia School of Music. She has been practicing in various areas of property law since 2003, with a focus on real estate and consumer bankruptcy. Licensed to practice in both South Carolina and Georgia, Alexia is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the District of South Carolina and the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. Outside of her legal work, Alexia is passionate about giving back to her community. She serves on the board of South Porch Artists Residency in Summerville, SC, where she connects with incredible artists from around the world and occasionally performs with visiting singers. She also sits on the board of Wholespire, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to promoting access to nutrition and physical activity in underserved communities, advocating for the positive impact these resources have on local economies and quality of life. Previously, Alexia was on the advisory board for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and served as a board member for Georgia Homeless Pets in Atlanta. She continues to foster dogs and cats from local shelters. Additionally, she volunteers for voter protection efforts nationwide and serves as an Election Protection attorney during local elections.
