Paul Weissenstein
A. Paul Weissenstein, Jr., graduated from the University of South Carolina, BA, cum laude, 1974, and JD 1977, and has been admitted to practice law in South Carolina State Courts since May 16, 1978. He is also admitted to practice in US District Court, US Bankruptcy Court, US Tax Court, the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also practices before the Social Security Administration. He is a member and past president of the Sumter County Bar, the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, and a former member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He authored articles for the legal encyclopedia, South Carolina Jurisprudence, on “Improvements” and “Lis Pendens.” He has lectured on legal topics such as Wills, Estates, and Bankruptcy. He is married and has two adult children.
